We recommend to list all software tools and service provider that your organisation uses in respect to processing (personal) data. This includes your CRM tool that contains client data but also less visible tools like third party providers that place web cookies on your webpage for analytics. In addition, you should also list any service provider such as a security service or marketing service if such service providers have access to personal data from your organisation. 

Your IT or procurement department might have a good overview of existing software tools and service providers.

Step 1: Select "Software & services" on the dashboard


Step 2: Select "Create" button in the upper right corner



Step 3: Select a name for your software or service in the dropdown menu...


... or add your custom name in the field and click "Save". 



And your new software or service will be created and shown in the list. You can now click on the name of the new object and start adding information.
